New England Restaurants and Chefs Nominated for 2024 James Beard Awards

A number of New England restaurants and chefs, have been nominated for the prestigious 2024 James Beard Foundation’s Restaurant and Chef Awards, in the following categories. 

Outstanding Restaurateur:

Outstanding Hospitality:
Woodford Food & Beverage, Portland, ME

Outstanding Bar: 
Barr Hill Cocktail Bar, Montpelier, VT

Best Chef: Northeast (CT, MA, ME, NH, RI, VT)

Restaurant and Chef Awards Nominees
The James Beard Foundation’s Restaurant and Chef Awards—established in 1990 and first awarded in 1991—is one of five separate recognition programs of the Awards. This Awards program celebrates  excellence across a range of experiences, from fine-dining establishments to casual gems, and emerging talents to established luminaries.

The 2024 Restaurant and Chef Awards nominees are recognized across 22 categories. Winners will be celebrated at the James Beard Restaurant and Chef Awards ceremony on Monday, June 10, 2024 at the Lyric Opera of Chicago.
